Big Ten Football Game (Northwestern Football)

Donor:  Luke Sundheim

Status: Completed. Implemented at BURR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Chicago, IL (The Generation Project Admin)
amount: $510.50
description:
I would like a group of inner city kids, preferably 7th grade and higher, to experience a Big Ten (Northwestern Wildcats) Football game. It's rare that they get to experience a high level college football game and the Wildcats play just a few miles north of the city. Ideally I would also like to provide transportation for the children as well. I know that Northwestern offers group discounts on tickets to groups of 20 or more. Group tickets are usually priced at $20 per ticket and if bought in advance are available for all Big Ten games. I would be happy to speak with the athletic department and see if they could donate shirts and gear for the students as well. I would like this to be a reoccurring event.
